My coaching is grounded in my experience that learning and action go together to create a life of increasingly greater fulfillment and impact. I have a master's degree in linguistics and 30 years of experience with mission-driven organizations, including teaching English as a second language in Greece; directing a refugee counseling program in Washington, D.C.; training Peace Corps volunteers for service in Latin America and Africa; facilitating workshops for Head Start parents in upstate New York; and serving as director of partnership development for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Albany.
From 1997-2005 I served adult learners and adjunct faculty members as Director of Student Services for the Center for Distance Learning at SUNY Empire State College, where I was recognized with the Award for Excellence in Professional Service as:
